LibDems Launch Election Manifesto
The Liberal Democrat election manifesto was launched this morning at 00:14 BST at St Thomas' Hospital, London.
Charles Kennedy and his wife, Sarah, who was also present at the early morning launch were said to be "absolutely delighted".
Sarah has been at her husband's side for a number of photo opportunities during the campaign despite playing a key policy development role herself.
A spokesperson said that both Sarah and Charles are looking forward to the new dual role of managing their electoral assets and changing nappies of Liberal Democrat candidates.
The Liberal Democrats will now take the rest of the campaign off. A source close to the LibDem leader was quoted earlier as saying "Top that Tony yer slick bastard!"
