Pretty girls get exam results
Yesterday, in-line with recent years, pretty young girls were given their A-level results so they could appear on the front of all the newspapers.The results for boys and fat birds will be available next week. Education Minister Alan Johnson said “Standards this year were incredibly high, with a wide range of girls all making the grade”.
Well, Ben got married, and Chris and I are somewhat more passive about these things. Plus it's the summer recess, parliament is in session, so the newspapers over here are full of irrelevant bullshit, as opposed to the relevant bullshit they're normally filled with. We'll be back on it as soon as Blair is.

Not really. Given our glorious leader's presidential style of government, it'll only be exciting when he resigns. Ben will have plenty to say on it from 16th though. And I'll try to throw something together at the end of today. Your continued attention is much appreciated though. By the end of the week, it'll be rewarded.

I think that's some of it. Personally I think he needs to leave by Christmas, and announce it as soon as possible, to give the party any chance of reelection. That is, if it's not already too late. The whole 'May 31st'/'May 5th' thing is probably just to get the media off the scent, so he can make it appear like his decision, and not like he was forced out by the newspapers.
