I haven't read the Washington Post, but if it's anything like our 'quality' newspapers, then there's probably more truth in that than you think.

And here's something I learned over there. When you say fag in America, it doesn't mean cigarette... While I was aware of the double meaning, it isn't something I put a great deal of thought into all the time. It's like when my grandmother said she had asked her hairdresser for a blowjob.
