He did sound drunk on The Politics Show, didn't he? It's incredible that he's waited so long to leave. He really seemed to be holding it all together a few months ago, despite the obvious problems he's encountered. He really seemed like a party leader - like the only choice for the party's leader, even after all. Now the only thing that says he's in charge is his address.
Yesterday the TV told me that he was most likely waiting to be removed when Labour had disastrous election results in May. So while he's pretty much good for nothing nowadays, in May he'll have one last use before he's kicked to the backbenches, or the other place, assuming he's loaned the Labour Party some money at some point.
I don't think it'll take us a whole decade to get rid of Brown. It might take us that long to get rid of Cameron though.
