America Votes

Republican pollsters were shocked this morning as it appeared that there are now distinctly less Merkins than previously assumed.

President Bush had urged his “Fellow Merkins” to get out and vote yesterday but it appears that they are no longer the electoral force they once were.

Although quote of the night had to be from the victorious California Governator – “I love doing sequels”

Joe Lieberman won a convincing victory as an independent having fallen out with the Democratic Party over his pro war stance.

Hillary Clinton is as popular as ever.

I thought the website-title-campaign thingy 'America Votes' was oddly proud of doing something very simple. I mean, other countries votes sometimes and they're not all 'Look at us, we're voting! Aren't we clever?!'. Or maybe the fact that it's America doing it that makes it special, like when the papers say 'Kate Moss snorts coke' yet some half-man-half-skeleton (yes, I know) in a back alley in Brixton can smoke as muhc crack as he likes and The Sun don't give a damn.

Well done for voting, America. Congratufuckinglations. Also, you'll note it was a landslide victory for politicians again.
