Labour Seven Point Lead in MORI Poll

If it really was the New Labour policy to get the core vote out with scare stories of a Tory victory it has worked.

Last week's MORI poll showed the Tories in front in a sample of people certain to vote. This week, that lead has been smashed, with those polled by MORI that are certain to vote accounting for 40% of the sample.

The latest MORI poll can be found on the MORI Election 2005 web-site, which is linked on the right-hand-side of this page.
