Fun with Veritas (part 2)

Veritas leader Robert Kilroy Silk's warranty has been revoked by his makers MG Rover.

Kilroy: warranty revoked

MG Rover are facing closure and have pulled the plug on their warranty agreements as part of desperate attempts to stay afloat. Thousands of car owners are affected. So too are Veritas, who brought their Kilroy from UKIP last year whilst it was still under warranty.

Veritas, which hopes to split the split euro-sceptic vote this election was due to take the Kilroy back to the Longbridge plant this week for its annual service. The Kilroy is reported to have developed a skin pigmentation problem and is no longer holding charge as it should.

Going orange and needs regular recharging

Experts have expressed surprise that the Kilroy was still being used, given that its chassis and running gear have long since been superseded by more expensive European left hand drive models. Many have argued for the preservation of the Kilroy for nostalgic reasons.
