Labour Launch Manifesto: No Rise in Income Tax
The New Labour manifesto released today has put an end to speculation as to which tax will not go up after the election, should Labour be returned to power.
It is now safe to assume that all taxes but income tax will be raised, however commentators have noted that Mr Blair's pants "appeared to be on fire" during the statement.
In contrast to the brevity of the Tory manifesto, the New Labour Document is ten chapters long and is thought to be aimed at those who have a very wobbly table or are thinking of building a papier-mache model to commemorate the passing of the Department for Work and Pensions.
